    The GCS-type low-voltage withdrawable switchgear (hereinafter referred to as the "unit") was jointly designed by a team from two ministries, based on the requirements of industry authorities, extensive feedback from power users, and input from design institutions. Developed to meet the evolving needs of the power market—such as increased capacity, enhanced computer interfaces, centralized power control, ease of installation and maintenance, and reduced downtime for fault resolution—the GCS switchgear adheres to principles of safety, economy, practicality, and reliability. It is tailored to China’s specific conditions, boasts superior technical performance metrics, and is fully equipped to keep pace with the dynamic growth of the power market while remaining competitive against currently imported products. This product features exceptional breaking and making capabilities, excellent thermal and dynamic stability, flexible power configuration options, convenient modular assembly, robust practicality across its series, and high protection ratings. As a result, it serves as an ideal replacement for existing low-voltage withdrawable switchgear models.

    This product complies with standards such as GB 7258.1 and IEC 439-1.

    Structural Features

    It can enhance the thermal capacity of the adapter, significantly reducing the additional temperature rise caused by the adapter's own heat generation in connectors, cable terminations, and partition plates.

    The separation between functional units and compartments is clear, reliable, and designed to ensure that a failure in one unit does not affect the operation of others, thereby limiting the fault to the smallest possible area.

    The busbar's horizontal arrangement ensures excellent dynamic and thermal stability, enabling it to withstand the impact of a short-circuit current as high as 80/176 kA.

    The MCC cabinet can accommodate up to 44 circuits in a single unit, fully addressing the needs of automated electric doors/machine groups in industries such as large-capacity power plants and petrochemical systems.

    Connection to external cables is completed within the cable compartment, allowing cables to be inserted and removed vertically. The zero-sequence current transformer is housed inside the cable compartment, ensuring convenient installation and maintenance.

    In the same power distribution system, current-limiting reactors can be used to match and restrict short-circuit currents, helping to stabilize bus voltage at a specific level—while also partially reducing the requirements for component withstand capabilities under short-circuit conditions.

    The drawer unit is equipped with a sufficient number of secondary connectors (32 pairs for 1 unit or more, and 20 pairs for 1/2 unit), meeting the requirements for both computer interfaces and connection points in automatic control circuits.
