Product Overview
Our company has developed and prototyped the BWX-Z series of low-voltage pole-mounted integrated distribution boxes. This device not only enables distribution, control, and protection of the low-voltage side distribution lines connected to pole-mounted public transformers but also features an HR□-series isolating switch-fuse combination unit (Patent No. ZL98210340.9), which allows operators to easily perform switching operations—opening or closing the circuit—without even needing to open the box door. The product is available in two versions: one with reactive power compensation and the other without. It supports functions such as electricity metering, current, voltage, and power factor measurement, enabling real-time monitoring of the outgoing line conditions from pole-mounted public transformers. This capability provides utility departments with comprehensive data essential for analyzing operational status, designing cost-effective and safe operating strategies, and planning equipment upgrades. The successful development of this innovative device addresses several limitations inherent in traditional suspended-type distribution boxes by integrating multiple functionalities into a single, compact unit. Its design ensures ease of installation, operation, and maintenance, significantly reducing the physical strain on electricians while enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal of urban landscapes. Moreover, it facilitates the standardization and streamlined management of both urban public transformers and rural distribution systems, promoting more efficient and organized grid operations.
The BWX-Z series outdoor low-voltage pole-mounted integrated distribution box is a next-generation, multi-functional distribution device designed for step-down power conversion, distribution, control, protection, line isolation, power factor correction, voltage quality improvement, and circuit loss reduction on the low-voltage side of urban and rural public substations—operating at a rated voltage of 380 (660V), with a rated capacity of 500 kVA or less, and a rated current ranging from 200A to 1000A.
