Product Overview
The PK series microcomputer protection and monitoring panels are designed for substations (including distribution stations) operating at 35kV and lower voltage levels. They provide intelligent, networked measurement, protection, and control functions for all high-voltage equipment within the station, while also enabling real-time communication with the higher-level master station to achieve comprehensive automation of the substation. Key features of this product line include: - Various types of line protection, measurement, and control functions; - Differential protection, backup protection, and measurement/control capabilities for transformers; - Protection and measurement/control functions for capacitors and motors; - Measurement and control functionalities such as bus sectioning and automatic transfer switching for incoming lines.
Meaning of the Model
Employing an ultra-high-speed dual-CPU system operating in parallel, this product boasts powerful functionality. All of its measurement, control, and protection units are equipped with the 80C196 chip introduced by Intel— a chip that delivers twice the speed of the 8096. Notably, the chip integrates all necessary peripheral circuits, resulting in an exceptionally streamlined hardware design. The system intelligently distributes functions such as protection, control, measurement, and communication across the two CPUs for parallel processing. This design ensures seamless operation: if one CPU fails, the system can automatically switch tasks to the functioning CPU, dramatically enhancing overall system performance while significantly improving reliability and safety. Additionally, the architecture includes ample redundancy, making it easier for users to upgrade and expand the system in the future. This approach also effectively prevents the system from operating at full capacity, ensuring long-term stability and efficiency.
Featuring exclusively industrial-grade, high-performance COMS chips, this product boasts ultra-low power consumption across the entire display. All integrated circuits in this product are crafted from top-tier industrial-grade COMS chips, significantly reducing power usage while dramatically improving the system's noise tolerance and enhancing its ability to resist interference.
Designed for high reliability and robustness in harsh environments, this product adheres to IEC international standards. Its specialized design ensures immunity to strong magnetic interference, with reliable contact between components and connectors. It also boasts exceptional resistance to shock and vibration, while operating effectively across a wide range of ambient temperatures. Additionally, its performance in key areas—such as insulation, dielectric strength, impact resistance, and immunity to high-frequency interference—fully meets the rigorous requirements of IEC international standards.
The communication network is high-speed and highly reliable, ensuring that all devices on the network operate independently without interfering with each other. This product features a dedicated RS-485 network communication chip, offering robust fault tolerance and exceptional reliability. Additionally, it incorporates optoelectronic isolation measures to fully safeguard the security of every device connected to the network. Each interface also includes a built-in self-test system, making it easy to quickly diagnose and repair any faults on the public network. Moreover, when a communication port failure is detected, the system automatically isolates itself from the communication bus.
