    The YB-12 series of prefabricated substations is a product line independently designed and developed by our company to meet the demands of urban grid construction. This series features a compact, integrated distribution system that combines medium-voltage switchgear, transformers, and low-voltage distribution equipment according to a specific wiring configuration.

    This series of prefabricated substations is designed for 12kV, three-phase AC systems with a rated frequency of 50Hz. It is suitable for residential complexes, commercial buildings, hotels, large construction sites, high-rise structures, industrial and mining enterprises, as well as temporary construction areas, with capacity configurations up to and including 2500 kVA. The substations can be used in both ring network power supply systems and radial terminal power supply setups.

    Meaning of the Model

    Structural Features

    The enclosure is designed based on advanced foreign technologies, tailored to meet practical needs. It features robust construction, excellent thermal insulation and ventilation, superior performance, moisture resistance, protection against small animals, and an aesthetically pleasing appearance—plus it’s easy to maintain. The enclosure materials offer a variety of options, including aluminum alloy profiles, steel plates, composite panels, stainless steel sheets, and even non-metallic materials like glass fiber-reinforced cement.

    The high-voltage side typically uses load switches, but vacuum circuit breakers can also be employed, equipped with comprehensive anti-misoperation features. Optional equipment includes: XGN20-12L sulfur hexafluoride ring main units, as well as HXGN15A and HXGN17 ring network switchgear. Transformers can be either oil-immersed or fully sealed models, or alternatively dry-type transformers may be used. For low-voltage switchgear, GGD1 (2, 3) models are recommended.

    The substation features comprehensive protection capabilities, user-friendly operation, and offers both high- and low-voltage metering options. It can also be equipped with an automatic reactive power compensation device according to customer requirements.

    The enclosure's top cover features a double-layer design, with the space between the layers filled with foam plastic for excellent thermal insulation. Inside, the high- and low-voltage compartments are equipped with separate top plates, while the transformer compartment includes condensation-prevention features along with an automatic temperature-control system that monitors, heats, and cools as needed.

    The enclosure features natural ventilation, and forced ventilation equipment can also be installed if needed. Dust-proof devices are fitted on the exterior of the door panels and side panels, corresponding to the positions of the louvers.
